From Above are the hot new girl-group from the UK, brought to you by US music industry mogul Mathew Knowles - a man who knows a thing or two about turning girl groups into gold. From Above members are Monique Robert, Ashley Shaw, Daisy Evans, Chelsey Reynolds and Seyi Joshua, all of whom are in their early twenties and have had various roles in the entertainment business, ranging from a featured dancer on the Kanye West tour and lead vocalist in a British girl band, to a singer/songwriter and a dancer on a UK dance reality show. In the words of the star-maker himself, 'From Above has all the ingredients: great singers, great looks, great personalities and they’re all friends.' After being the mastermind behind the career of one of the most successful girl groups of the decade, Destiny's Child, Mathew Knowles is set to showcase his newest girl act, From Above, in a new MTV reality series, "Breaking From Above."

In conjunction with Knowles' label, Music World Entertainment, the series will follow the five UK natives as they go through the mogul's artist development program, which consist of hardcore physical, vocal, media and choreography training.

Upon their arrival to Houston for Knowles' "Star Power Boot Camp" the girls quickly learn that two new members, Jasmine & Brandy, are living in the house with them and are all in competition for a spot in From Above, according to the show's press release.
