Katy Shotter is an English singer, songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist.
Katy came from a musical family and initially trained as a classical pianist. From an early age Katy found inspiration from her parents, being constantly surrounded by an eclectic array of music. This formed an incredible love and passion for music that has shaped and defined Katy’s sound of soul, r'n'b and pop to this day. Following the tour with Beyonce, Katy has spent time working and writing with various hit producers and writers including Jack Knight, Shy FX, Steve Chrisanthou and Mick Lister and more recently, Katy has been supporting Jools & Chris Holland, B-Traits (Radio 1) Example and Benga, as well as touring parts of Europe just herself and her keyboard. Katy currently splits her time between America and the UK, and with her sweet, soulful vocals and inescapable hooks, Katy is one of the most exciting young upcoming singer-songwriters of the moment.
